The Belgium international has been tipped to leave Manchester United this summer, with a move to Serie A backed.
Lukaku has impressed at spells following his move to United from Everton in 2017.
The striker is out of favour under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, with the Norwegian opting for Marcus Rashford up top.
And according to ESPN, United are eyeing a move for Eintracht Frankfurt striker Sebastien Haller should Lukaku leave.

They say Solskjaer is keen to sign a new centre-forward if Lukaku joins Inter Milan.
ESPN claim United aren’t actively looking to sell Lukaku, however, the striker is a top target for new Inter boss Antonio Conte.
The Red Devils would be looking for around £80m for Lukaku if he quits Old Trafford.
Haller, 24, netted 20 goals in all competitions for Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt last season.
ESPN add that Unites scouts watched him during Frankfurt’s Europa League clash with Chelsea.
Lukaku has been vocal on his United future, insisting he’s love to play in Italy at some point in his career.
“Playing in Serie A is a dream, it would be really a dream,” Lukaku said.
“I hope to be able to play sooner or later, even if at the moment I am focused on the United.”
Lukaku’s agent Federico Pastorello added: “He’s someone who loves to know a different culture, a different football.

“He sees a way to have a career playing in different countries because he would like to win some trophies and prove himself and say to his children.
“‘I won there and I won there and I won there’ and ‘I was a very good player in all the top championships’ so let’s see.

“He likes Italy. When he was a child he followed a lot the Italian league.”
