Liverpool came into the game trailing by three goals after the first leg of their Champions League semi-final but won the tie 4-3 on aggregate.
Most had written off the Reds before the game especially as they would face Lionel Messi and co. without top goalscorer Mo Salah and Roberto Firmino, who were both ruled out with injury.
However, Divock Origi didn’t waste any time giving Liverpool fans a glimmer of hope after he found the back of the net after just seven minutes.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was forced to replace an injured Andy Robertson at half-time and the introduction of Georginio Wijnaldum would go on to change the course of the game.

The Dutchman was electric coming off the bench and scored two goals in just over two minutes.
With the game tied on aggregate Liverpool then took the lead in the tie after 79 minutes, when Trent Alexander-Arnold caught the Barca defence napping.
The defender drilled in a quickly-taken corner to Origi, who sublimely slotted the ball past Barcelona keeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
And Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler felt the Reds' performance was brilliant and fully worthy of going through to the final.

“You know when you talk about the great nights, this is the best ever,” Fowler said on BT Sport.
“It's absolutely incredible.
“Before the game, we were talking about all the superlatives we can say about (Lionel) Messi.
“We can run out of superlatives for Liverpool.
“(It was) deserved as well and that's the best thing about it.
“I’m so proud and so delighted to be part of Liverpool.
