Arsenal team news vs Bournemouth: Predicted line up - Emery reveals treble injury boost
ARSENAL boss Unai Emery is hopeful Alex Iwobi, Stephan Lichtsteiner and Ainsley Maitland-Niles will be fit to face Bournemouth.
Both Iwobi and Lichtsteiner limped off during Arsenal’s 2-0 win against Southampton on Sunday afternoon.
Maitland-Niles didn’t feature against the Saints, with the defender struggling with an illness.
However, Emery is confident Iwobi will be fit to face Bournemouth.
When asked about the Nigeria international, he said: “I hope it’s only one knock and not a more important injury. I hope he can play Wednesday.”
I want a performance in each match
On Lichtsteiner, Emery added: “Lichtsteiner has back pain but I think he can also be okay for Wednesday.”
“I hope also Maitland-Niles can be ready for Wednesday,” Emery concluded on Arsenal’s injury problems.
Emery’s men know a win against Bournemouth will see Arsenal stay in the top four ahead of Manchester United and Chelsea.
And the Spaniard has revealed he isn’t scared to rotate his squad to get a performance out of his players.

When asked about the Bournemouth clash, Emery said: “[I want a] performance.
“I want a performance in each match and our focus is tomorrow.
“Some players after playing Sunday with a very big intensity and energy, maybe can give us the same intensity and the same energy and I am going to find some players with this energy, this fresh intensity and also quality.
“But above all is to do the balance between all the individual qualities and capacities for finding the best performance tomorrow.”
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is also expected to start against Bournemouth after being benched against Southampton.
Aubameyang will likely start on the left, with Alexandre Lacazette playing up top.
