"I actually think they can go higher than top four if they get on a roll.
"It's a wonderful thing football. Once you get that momentum, it's amazing where you find the legs and the drive from. Nothing seems to be a problem."

"They are obviously doing their due diligence now. That's what they have to do.
"If someone comes in and goes undefeated and has a great run, of course he's got to get it.
"It's happened to managers before who have been put into positions and off they go.
"In life he's taken a blow but sometimes you need lows because he's come across here, got the Cardiff job, it didn't work out when it could have affected him but he's come back again, picked himself up and gone again.
"He's already had a knock in football. Sometimes when you've not had a knock before you get these big jobs, it can throw you - but I think he's ready again."
