Kell Brook won his first fight back in the ring

Brook, who underwent his second eye-socket survey after his defeat to Errol Spence Jr back in May, produced a clinical display in Sheffield.

The Englishman threw a barrage of punches and after connecting with an uppercut, he landed a left hander that saw Rabchenko fall to the canvas.

The referee stopped the fight in the second round and it was a clinical display from Brook.

Talk of a fight between Brook and Khan has whetted the appetite.

And Brook admits he wants the fight to happen regardless of the weight.

Forget about the weight. It’d be Khan. It’d be a lot harder to get him signed than a world title fight

When asked whether he would rather fight Khan at light-middleweight or take on a world welterweight bout, Brook said: “Forget about the weight. It’d be Khan.

“It’d be a lot harder to get him signed than a world title fight.

“Everyone wants to see that fight. We’ve got the money and the promo stuff, so why can’t we make that happen.

“We need to sit down, talk about weight and need to make that fight.”

On his return to the ring, Brook added: “You thought you had got rid of me. I am the Terminator and I am back now. I am here to stay. I love the sport.

"To see all these people come out here, my life could not be any better right now.

"It was all about getting my timing right. I felt very comfortable. I felt relaxed, I felt strong and I felt stable. The weight was good.

"It was like my first fight tonight after having them losses I needed to get back to winning ways. I am back at it."
