Coronation Street spoilers: Eileen Grimshaw's HUGE discovery looks set to end Pat Phelan
CORONATION STREET’S Eileen Grimshaw is set to make a surprising discovery during tonight’s episode, and it could change everything for Pat Phelan.

The ITV soap’s current villain has been gradually unravelling as Anna Windass’ (played by Debbie Rush) court trial got underway.
Last week, viewers were left with a shock twist after Seb Franklin (Harry Visinoni) finally decided to change his statement on the stand.
Having heard Anna’s heartbreaking story, as the mother-of-two was once raped by the evil conman, Eileen (Sue Cleaver) finally seemed to see her husband for who he really is.
Tonight Pat (Connor McIntyre) seems more likely to be getting away with his tirade scot-free when it is revealed that Seb’s confession was goaded by Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) and Gary Windass (Mikey North).

Pat Phelan. He’s always had it in for Anna
Eileen sits through the CCTV footage that depicts Tim and Gary seeming to threaten Seb outside Streetcars taxi service, leaving her reeling from the implications.
Having reported it to the police, Tim is then called as a witness at the trial where he’s forced to admit how his and Gary’s actions led to Seb changing his story last week.
This turn of events could send Eileen back into the arms of her killer husband, unless she’s clever enough to see through it.
Meanwhile, Seb’s sudden betrayal of old mentor Pat could put him in serious trouble in this week’s episodes, as the Liverpudlian will undoubtedly be out for blood.
Coronation Street: Pat Phelan hastily packs a bag
Regardless of Anna’s ultimate verdict and the involvement of Tim and Gary, Seb told the truth when he confessed to the court that Pat had “made him” say the defendant pushed him off his ladder.
He then directly pointed at the rumbled character, adding: “Pat Phelan. He’s always had it in for Anna.”
Clearly seething, Pat didn’t even wait to hear his wife’s reaction and he stormed out of the courtroom to cool off.
But he couldn’t get away that easily, as Gary wouldn’t let him disappear without a passing warning.

With a smug grin, Gary said: “Enjoy your freedom… while it lasts.
“Perverting the course of justice, perjury, take your pick. Now everyone knows how much you've lied, the police will come knocking next.
“And once they start digging who knows what they’ll find.”
Friday’s instalment finally concluded with Pat packing his bags in order to make a speedy getaway from Weatherfield, but with the events of tonight’s episode, Eileen could end up going on the run with him.
Coronation Street continues tonight at 7.30pm on ITV.
