EastEnders spoilers: Very unexpected exit lined up TONIGHT - and it’s not Abi or Lauren

EASTENDERS will be lining up another big departure tonight and it won’t be involving Abi or Lauren Branning.

EastEnders: Police tell Max Branning he has a 'guardian angel'

The two sisters are currently fighting for their lives after falling from the Queen Vic roof while trying to save their father, Max Branning (played Jake Wood).

However, as EastEnders  axed Max’s revenge storyline early, James Wilmott-Brown’s (William Boyde) time on the BBC soap has subsequently come to a close also.

Fi Browning (Lisa Faulkner) will rumble her father after the consequences of his ruthless plot to take down Albert Square resulted in Max’s break down and the tragic Christmas day accident.

Desperate to learn the extent of her father’s deceit, Fi heads to James’ office to uncover all of his most disturbing secrets.

Who will leave EastEnders tonight?

While Fi plays Nancy Drew, James confronts Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) again with a proposition, but is floored when she comes back fighting.

James returns to his office to realise he’s been exposed and, in turn, plans his escape.

Sadly, before he manages to flee the scene, James collapses, hopefully spelling the end for Weyland and Co.

EastEnders fans have been enamoured with the latest action spilling pout of Walford as the soap has taken a huge U-turn following the reinstatement of former boss John Yorke.

Abi (Lorna Fitzgerald) and Lauren’s (Jacqueline Jossa) fall eclipsed both Coronation Street and Emmerdale in the ratings by millions on December 25, as Tanya Branning (Jo Joyner) made a triumphant return while Stacey Fowler (Lacey Turner) and Max rekindled their romance

EastEnders continues tonight at 8pm and 9.30pm on BBC One.
