After Matt Baker made a cockerel-shaped weathervane, Charlotte Smith provided an interesting look into the effects the reintroduction of beavers to Britain would have.
Countryfile quickly became a top trend on Twitter as the report aired, but it was dirty jokes that dominated the conversation - especially when one expert could be seen saying: "You can look at that and say, 'that's beaver damage'."
"Watching #Countryfile and all I've seen so far is talk of cocks and beavers. #smut," quipped one viewer.
"Anyone else having a *snork* at the "beaver explosion" on BBC #Countryfile," another tweeted.

A third post read: "Ridiculous I know but the word Beaver never fails to make me smile #Countryfile."
When Ellie Harrison then discussed blue tits, the posts just kept on going.
"Tits and Beaver. #countryfile really spoiling us tonight," wrote one joker.
A second said: "Tits and beaver #Inappropriate #Countryfile."
Not everyone was turning the cyber-air blue, though: a subsequent segment on daffodils also went down a treat.

"Lovely to see the native daffodils, Narcissus pseudonarcissus, on #Countryfile. Lots of them in our local Edford Wood," one fan posted.
Tonight's show was filmed in Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Gloucestershire.
Countryfile continues Sundays at 7pm on BBC One.
