EMMERDALE's Chrissie Sugden is about to have her world turned upside down as she fears Lawrence White may not actually be her biological father.
Chrissie Sugden doubts whether Lawrence is her father
Chrissie (Louise Marwood) will be left in doubt about her true paternity after Lawrence opens up about his complicated past, which sends her imagination into overdrive.
The trouble begins when hidden camera footage of his wife Bernice (Samantha Giles) is found on Lachlan's laptop, arousing suspicion that he is up to his old stalker tricks.
This in turn forces Chrissie to come clean about how she was actually the one spying on Bernice in the hope that she would be exposed as a cheat.
She is then left shocked when Lawrence (John Bowe) reveals he has already given his wife his blessing to sleep with other men, meaning her hidden camera was pointless.

It is then revealed that he had a similar arrangement with her own mother, which leaves Chrissie wondering if he is even her biological dad.
Desperate for someone to talk to she turns to her brother-in-law Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) for support and reveals the whole story.
She admits that she is desperate to know the truth about her father and find out if Lawrence is really just a stranger

In a bid to find out the truth, she considers organising a DNA test but then fears her son's relationship with Lawrence may change for the worse if it turns out her father is someone else.
As she struggles to decide what to do, Andy reminds her that it takes much more to be a proper father than DNA.
Fans of the soap are currently gripped by the Aaron Livesy abuse plot line which has seen his mother Chas Dingle and her enemy Robert Sugden partner up.
Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV at 7pm.
