Deal or No Deal star Stephen Mulhern was probed by This Morning presenter Cat Deeley on his relationship with former Big Brother contestant Josie Gibson.

Stephen Mulhern has set the record straight on his affinity with Josie Gibson. The Deal or No Deal star was asked about the pair’s relationship status during his appearance on This Morning.
On Tuesday (May 7), 47-year-old Stephen appeared on ITV to promote the third book in his Max Magic book series. After completing a card trick on the magazine programme he was asked by Cat Deeley what was going on with him and 39-year-old Josie.
“So, couldn’t let you go without Josie,” Cat, 47, asked the Dancing on Ice presenter in the dying minutes of the show. An image was then broadcast of Stephen and Josie holding hands.
“Listen she didn’t turn up for rehearsals,” he began. I held her hand and I showed her where to stand that is it.”
Laughing with her co-anchor Ben Shephard, 49, Cat replied: “Really? Your lips are sealed?” Closing the show, Stephen joked: “Why are you doing this to me?” before the trio signed over to the Loose Women panel.
Following the conversation, ITV viewers took to social media to have their say.
One user of X, formerly known as Twitter, wrote: “I love Stephen he's f***ing great.” A second said: “Helping her to the stage, yeah sure Stephen. #ThisMorning.”
“Grow the f**k up Cat!! You sound like a teenager at school. Who cares if he’s dating. @thismorning #ThisMorning,” complained another.
The rumour mill first went into overdrive when Josie and Stephen were spotted leaving a studio together after filming the final episode of Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.

Last month, mum-of-one Josie addressed speculation regarding her love life and told OK! Magazine that she thought Stephen was “lovely”.
“We are really good friends. I really adore him, but there's no romance in the air,” she confirmed to the publication
"But he's so nice. Every bloke that I come in contact with, the press seems to think that I'm having it off with them. People must think I'm a right goer. I'm not like that."
