As 17th series returned to screens this month, viewers were left distracted by appearance. Although his wardrobe may have stayed the same over the years, people were quick to highlight his different look.

Over the years, Simon’s appearance has drastically changed, which hasn’t gone unnoticed by people. During an episode of comedian Stephen Mulhern couldn’t resist having a jibe over Simon’s face.

As he mimicked the 64-year-old, Stephen joked: “It’s my Cowell impression but it’s not very convincing because my face moved.” Simon has always insisted he’s never had a facelift, although it’s been reported he’s had a Silhouette Soft Lift.

In the past, Simon has been open about the procedures he’s gotten as he revealed having Botox and filler done. Although he confessed he decided to put an end to it all.

Speaking to The Sun in 2022, he revealed the treatment made him look like something out of a horror film. He said: “Eric (his son) was in hysterics. Enough was enough. There is no filler in my face at all now. Zero.”

“There was a phase where everyone was having their faces pumped full of this and the other.”

However, it’s not just his face that has drastically changed over the years, as the Britain’s Got Talent star has lost an incredible four stone.

Simon has looked noticeably trimmed down compared to his past self and has attributed his weight change to a lifestyle change.

The 64-year-old confessed that he saw a doctor in Harley Street, after suffering a health scare, who scolded his bad eating habits.

He told The Sun: “He did my blood work and pee and all the rest of it

“A month later the results came in and his words were, ‘You have the worst diet out of all the clients I have ever seen in my life.”

The ITV star was told he has a schoolboy’s diet from the 1960s and was given a list of things he can and can’t eat.

Cutting out certain groups such as gluten and bread, red meat, dairy, and sugar, it’s believed he sticks to eating white meats like chicken and turkey with plenty of salad and vegetables.

Along with a new eating regime, Simon seems to be a keen cyclist, as it’s reported he has a collection of 15 bikes in his home.

Speaking about his exercise habits, he told The Mirror: “It's the best way to exercise because it's fun. It's a combination of all that stuff. It gives you energy and makes you feel better.

“I looked at a picture of myself from four years ago and thought, 'Oh Christ'. The diet I had then... phew. And everyone thinks I've had a gastric band - I haven't.”

Britain’s Got Talent is available to watch on ITVX.
