Fleur asked: “Now that the dust has settled, has it finally sunk in?”

Jody replied: “Yeah just a little, I really enjoyed this. Just knowing that I’m not going to be doing it again has been pretty hard.

“But, I’ve had a fun time while we’ve been here.”

Touching on the routine that saw him eliminated from the show, Jody revealed it was good fun to perform.

As Fleur highlighted Rio holds a special place in Jody’s heart after winning two gold medals, she asked whether or not the salsa routine will be added to the collection of memories.

He added: “It was good fun to perform, I had a big smile on my face while I was doing it, so there’s that but obviously we went home off it as well.

“So, it’s not quite got the same ring to it as the golds that I won in Rio.”

Although Jody found himself becoming the fourth star to be eliminated, the other contestants have been impressing the judges with their dances.
