Nacho star recalls 'intimidating' moment he replicated an orgasm in front of '400 extras'

Nacho: An Industry XXXL is Lionsgate’s hottest new series, which is set to get viewers hot under the collar as they meet the legendary Spanish porn star, Nacho Vidal (played by Martino Rivas) when the series airs on May 19.
The raunchy series tells the dramatic yet comedic story of the real people behind the porn industry in Spain and the lives they live.
The drama is also inspired by Spain’s most notorious porn star, Nacho Vidal who was known for his considerable penis.
Proving his talents reached far beyond his most infamous 25cm manhood, Nacho changed the rules of the game in the 1990s when he became an international superstar alongside a constant shifting of social and cultural norms in Spain.
Ahead of the series hitting fans' screens on May 19, the star of the show, Rivas, looked back at recreating some of the series' most iconic scenes.

The actor opened up about filming some of the “hardest” scenes in the series with his “amazing” co-star Maria De Nati, including recreating Nacho’s first live performance as a porn star in Barcelona.
Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, Rivas explained: “You know, the hardest part [was okay] because I was so lucky to have Maria De Nati as, as the co-star, she was amazing.
“And, and what we initially thought was going to be a bit, you know, a bit of a sticky issue and uncomfortable, it was fun,” Rivas added.
Before explaining how he and De Nati perceived recreating some of the uncomfortable scenes, he said: “Like, if we were doing an action movie, this would be like our stunt scene, you know. So that's the way we try to approach it.”

The actor then admitted there were times while filming the series that he found himself being “unsure” and “self-conscious”.
“And the only day that is the only couple of days that I've felt a bit unsure or self-conscious, was when we filmed the part that takes place in this live show that he did in Barcelona where he started,” the star began to say.
“So because when you're filming with just the crew, you know, the crew, they know what this is about, And they also you feel like you're part of a family, they support you, they're very encouraging and everyone is very respectful.
“But the moment you put 400 extras in the room, and you're up there on stage, trying to replicate an orgasm, recreating sex, and they just you see all these people just staring at you in silence that that's yeah, that's a bit intimidating,” the Nacho star admitted.
But this intimidating experience helped Rivas channel his inner Nacho Vidal as he went on to explain he “embraced” the feeling.
Rivas went on to say: “But it was also helpful because I thought, ‘Okay, this is exactly how Nacho was probably feeling back then’.
“So I just try to use it and you know, embrace it and run with it, so that's what I did. And I ended up enjoying it to a certain extent,” he revealed.
