Phillip Schofield to be 'replaced' by This Morning favourite next week in shake-up
This Morning's Alison Hammond orders Dermot to leave studio
Phillip Schofield typically hosts This Morning alongside Holly Willoughby from Monday through to Thursday. However, the 60-year-old presenter is being temporarily replaced by fan favourite Alison Hammond on Monday.
Alison, 48, will be stepping in for Phillip after the presenter made the announcement on Friday's edition of This Morning.
Alison, who hosts the show on Fridays alongside Dermot O'Leary, told viewers: "Guess what? I'm going to be hosting. Monday, 10 o'clock, see you there!"
The Birmingham-born host also promised big names on the talk show next week.
She continued: "On Monday's This Morning, Shirley Ballas will be here as she reveals why her latest project will be more competitive than Strictly."

Dermot added: "David Domoney has all you need to know about getting your garden ready for spring."
The announcement came ahead of West Midlands Police confirming an investigation has been launched after Alison reportedly lost thousands of pounds to a man who threatened to blackmail her.
Alison has allegedly been blackmailed by a person she once thought to be her friend, with sources claiming she went to the authorities as the demands continued.
West Midlands Police said in a statement to Express.co.uk: “We are investigating an allegation of blackmail of a woman in her 40s.
“We take reports of this kind very seriously and our enquiries are progressing swiftly.”
It was reported in The Sun that Alison "handed over thousands of pounds” to the culprit who allegedly threatened to “ruin” her life with lies if she didn’t pay.
Alison reportedly purchased the man a £5,000 BMW before going to the police to show the “sinister blackmail messages”.
The blackmail allegedly began eight months ago when the person threatened to “tell the world” lies which could ruin Alison's career.
