Emmerdale's Leyla Harding has been through an extremely difficult year on the ITV soap and she is now facing a lonely Christmas.

Leyla (played by Roxy Shahidi) and Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) recently decided it was best to break up. While Leyla, who has been recovering from drug addiction, put on a strong front as Liam coldly asked to make it official with a divorce, it hit her hard on the inside. Splitting up just before Christmas is not easy for anyone, and Leyla could be left having no one to spend the festive day with.

ITV soap spoilers have revealed Charles Anderson (Kevin Mathurin) holds a choir event to raise money for a stroke charity after Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) suffered one earlier this year.
At Emmerdale's village hall, the members of the choir begin singing as everyone enjoys the music, food and drink.
Fully aware of Liam's divorce, Jimmy King (Nick Miles) invites Liam to spend Christmas with him and Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) so he is not alone.

Rishi Sharma (Bhasker Patel), also asks if Liam wants to spend Christmas with him and the doctor wonders if he's bitten off more than he can chew.
How will Leyla feel after learning Liam has been offered to have Christmas with two different groups of people?
Is there anyone she would be able to open her presents with and enjoy a roast dinner with?
After cutting ties with Liam, it appears Leyla has no one else to turn to over the festive period.
Emmerdale fans will recall Liam and Leyla decided their marriage was beyond repair last month.
She has continued to tell Liam she is completely set on a divorce, but it seems this is not the case deep down.
Could Leyla relapse over Christmas if she ends up spending it all by herself?
Perhaps she will have more luck in love soon when Cain Dingle's (Jeff Hordley) estranged brother Caleb (Will Ash) makes his soap debut this Christmas.

Cain actor Jeff told Express.co.uk and other media: "It feels as if Caleb has been here for a long time.
"The characters are written so well. He's got a charm and Will brings that across really beautifully in it.
"Cain does have a connection with him. He doesn't like it but you can see that he also finds something he wants to connect with."
Viewers will see a flashback episode of Caleb meeting Cain when they were children.
Caleb star Will explained: "Initially when he comes in, even though he's got an axe to grind with [Cain], he wants to connect with his family.
"To connect with Cain and with Chas, he wants to have a relationship even though there is a kind of simmering resentment and bitterness."
Will the men be able to work through their differences on the ITV soap?
