Stranger Things season four will be coming up soon on Netflix and the sci-fi series is set to gain some new recruits. At this moment in time, no official release date has been announced, but fans have become excited over the latest update. Who is in Stranger Things season 4?
Vickie - Amybeth McNulty
The official Twitter account for the series announced a new character called Vickie would feature in season four.
She is described as "a cool, fast-talking band nerd who catches the eye of one of our beloved heroes".
This means romance could be on the cards for one of the protagonists this season.
Vickie is played by Amybeth McNulty, a 19-year-old Irish-Canadian actress best known for her role as the title character in Anne with an E.
On Instagram, she said: "An honour to join the team. Looking forward to you all meeting Vickie very soon."

Patrick - Myles Truitt
Patrick is described as "a Hawkins basketball star who has friends, talent and a good life...
"Until shocking events sent his life spiralling out of control." He could be the next Billy Hargrove (Dacre Montgomery) of the series.
He is played by Myles Truitt, a 19-year-old actor known for his role as Eli Solinski in Kin.
He has also starred in Queen Sugar and Black Lightning, and he is looking forward to his new role.
Truitt shared a photo of his character on Instagram, with the message: "Hawkins 86'".

Ms Kelly - Regina Ting Chen
Ms Kelly is a guidance counsellor who is loved and admired by her students.
She helps people from all walks of life and those who are struggling the most really look up to her.
She is played by Regina Ting Chen, an actress known for her roles in Queen of the South and Watchmen.
The actress is also an avid sportswoman, enjoying kickboxing and tennis.
On Instagram, she said: "I don’t have words! I’m beyond excited to get to be in a show I am obsessed with AHHH!!! UNREAL!!!"

Chrissy - Grace Van Dien
Chrissy is a cheerleader at Hawkins High and she is described as the most popular girl in school.
She may come across as perfect on the outside, but she is in fact battling with a dark secret.
She is played by Grace Van Dien, a 24-year-old actress known for The Village and Charlie Says.
On Instagram she posted a photo, saying: "Just happy to be here @strangerthingstv thank you thank you."
Other new characters for season four include Victor Creel (Robert Englund), Peter Ballard (Jamie Campbell Bower), Argyle (Eduardo Franco) and Eddie Munson (Joesph Quinn).

Stranger Things season four will be arriving slightly later than expected due to the coronavirus pandemic.
This means fans may have to wait until early next year for the new episodes to emerge.
Returning to the fourth outing will be Joyce Byers (Winona Ryder), Jim Hopper (David Harbour) and Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown).
Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), Nancy (Natalia Dyer), Jonathan (Charlie Heaton), Will (Noah Schnapp) and Max (Sadie Sink) will also be returning.
Stranger Things is streaming on Netflix.
