Trump supporters planning new 'insurrection' as US President threatened with impeachment
TRUMP supporters are planning a second "insurrection" against Congress as leading US politicians seek to remove the President from office before the end of January.
Donald Trump 'must be removed from office' says Scaramucci
Trump supporters stormed the Capitol building in Washington DC last week as members of Congress prepared to certify the election results in favour of Joe Biden. President Donald Trump failure to condemn the protests until too late cost him access to most social media platforms and pushed representatives to draw up articles of impeachment against him. Former White House adviser Anthony Scaramucci told Good Morning Britain "another insurrection is coming" as Trump supporters continue to oppose the results of the November vote.
Mr Scaramucci said: "It's impossible to say how deranged he'll become but I think it's super serious.
He has to be removed from office. You can't incite a riot like that, four, five people died in the riot.
"He's taken off Twitter and all these other places for a reason. There's another insurrection coming, they're signalling January 17 and possibly January 20."
Joe Biden will be officially inaugurated as the 46th President of the United States with a public ceremony in Washington DC on January 20.
Mr Scaramucci continued: "This is just raw evil coming from the President of the United States.

"We have to act very, very quickly. In the face of Fascism, whether it was Europe in the 1930s or the United States right now, the failure to act is brought with recriminations from future generations so we can't allow that to happen."
Leader of the House Nancy Pelosi, whose office was ransacked during the riots, urged Trump's Administration to trigger the 25th Amendment and remove Mr Trump from the White House before January 20.
Speaking to 60 Minutes, Mrs Pelosi said: "Sadly, the person who is running the Executive Branch is a deranged, unhinged, dangerous president of the United States, and only a number of days until we can be protected from him
"But he has done something so serious that there should be prosecution against him."

Several people who attacked police officers, stole computers and smashed windows at the Capitol last week have since been arrested for the role played in the violence, and officials have opened 25 domestic terrorism investigations.
President Trump finally acknowledged his successor will take over from January 20 in a video statement released after the attack but he has not appeared in public since last week.
Lawmakers will bring up a resolution asking Vice President Mike Pence to invoke the 25th Amendment of the US when they reconvene on Monday morning.
The amendment, which has never been used since its creation in 1965, allows the vice president and the Cabinet to remove a president when they are deemed unfit to do the job.

If Mike Pence does not respond, Democrats would proceed with impeaching the president for a historic second time.
In a letter sent to lawmakers on Sunday evening, Mrs Pelosi said: "In protecting our Constitution and our Democracy, we will act with urgency, because this President represents an imminent threat to both.
"As the days go by, the horror of the ongoing assault on our democracy perpetrated by this President is intensified and so is the immediate need for action."
However, an adviser has claimed the Vice President is opposed to using the 25th Amendment against President Trump.
