ELITE follows a group of working class students who are transferred into one of the most wealthy schools in Spain - and are left in some compromising positions.
Elite: Trailer for Netflix's thrilling new teen mystery series
Although the students of Elite’s Las Encinas school are initially perceived as extremely well-behaved, the cracks quickly begin to show.
However Christian (played by Miguel Herrán) makes the most of his time in the prestigious school, as he makes a deal with his peers.
Enamoured by the good looks of Carla (Ester Expósito), Christian begins trying to get together with the famous heiress.
And it isn’t long until Carla’s boyfriend Polo (Álvaro Rico) gets involved and suggests the three of them begin an open relationship.
Speaking to press including Express.co.uk, the stars of Netflix’s hit teen drama Elite discussed how they felt about this agreement.
Carla actress Ester admitted: “I liked it.
“I thought it was a triangle between three people that was really unusual, and not the typical thing that would [usually] be seen.”
She went on to say that, although it was unusual, its inclusion in the show was welcomed.
Ester continued: “Because why not experiment and find out things about yourself?”
But although the three actors spent a lot of time together in intimate situations, it wasn’t always a serious affair.
Christian actor Miguel revealed the three of them had “many discussions” about the numerous sex scenes.
Ester also added that she “always had a good time” during filming.
She went on to reveal that she remembered both Miguel and Alvaro were left wearing socks to contain their modesty.
She explained: “They had to be practically naked on the set, and I wore beige underwear, but the boys had to wear socks…”
Despite the number of sex scenes the trio had to film together, Ester went on to add that they have all “become really good friends”.
She said: “[We] go out for dinner - we have become like a gang of friends.”
They may not be the only characters who continue their relationship into the potential second season.
It was heavily hinted that Guzman (Miguel Bernardeau) and Nadia (Mina El Hammani) may finally come together in the next episodes.
But will Guzman’s girlfriend Lu (Danna Paola) be able to let that slide?
Elite is available on Netflix now.
