Seven held in Yemen terror probe
Seven Saudi Arabian men arrested in Yemen are being questioned on suspicion of having ties to al Qaida and other terrorist groups.
Security officials said the men were among a group of more than 30 arrested in recent weeks for allegedly planning to carry out terrorist acts.
The identities of the seven Saudis were not released by the officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity because they are not allowed to talk to the media.
Elements of al Qaida have long found a haven in Yemen's remote hinterland.
Earlier this month, Saudi Arabia issued a most-wanted list of 83 Saudis and two Yemenis - including two Saudi ex-Guantanamo Bay detainees who recently appeared in an al Qaida video in Yemen.
