A TRAIN station in Milan has reopened after it was evacuated as a suspicious package was found in the Italian city ahead of the Uefa Champions League final tonight.
Police have evacuated Cadorna metro station after a suspicious package was found
The Cadorna metro was cleared for people after police said they had found an abandoned package on the stairs outside the busy station.
Another two lines in the city were also closed off after the discovery of the package.
The evacuation of one of the city's busiest metro stations came as the San Siro stadium is set to host the Champions League final tonight between Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid.

The majority of fans travelling to the game would likely have to travel through Cadorna to get to the San Siro.
However, after a bomb squad arrived on the scene they quickly established the package was harmless as it contained gifts for children and had likely been forgotten at the station.
Services are now running normally again after being shut just over an hour.

The evacuation comes after German intelligence issued a chilling warning saying that terrorists are planning on turning the EURO 2016 football championships into a bloodbath.
Hans-Georg Maassen, the head of Germany's Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution said Islamic State militants have the upcoming sporting event in France "in their sights" as the death cult wants to launch attacks against high-profile Western targets.
He said: "We know that IS has the European Championship in its sights."
