GOTCHA: 'Significant' ISIS jihadi captured by hotshot Special Forces team
A 'SIGNIFICANT' Islamic State (ISIS) operative has been captured by a Special Forces team as part of a mission to put pressure on the terror group.
Special forces captured an ISIS operative
The member of the death cult, also known as Daesh, was captured in Northern Iraq by a team led by the US Army’s elite Delta force.
The detainee, who has not been identified, is being interrogated and it is expected they will then be handed over to Iraqi officials.

The raid was carried out by the US’ expeditionary target force.
American Defence secretary Ash Carter has acknowledged the the group has been sent to Iraq to conduct raids against Daesh.
The 200-strong team is the first American boots on the ground in Iraq since 2011.
It is not known how long the detainee will be held, although he will not be sent to an American detention centre.
What if ISIS ruled the world?

These special operators will over time be able to conduct raids
Last year, Mr Carter said a force would be sent to the middle east to deal with the brutal jihadists.
He said: “We're deploying a specialised expeditionary targeting force to assist Iraqi and Kurdish Peshmerga forces and to put even more pressure on ISIL.
“These special operators will over time be able to conduct raids, free hostages, gather intelligence and capture ISIL leaders.”

Last May, American Special Ops killed ISIS chief Abu Sayyaf in Syria, and it was an American drone that killed Mohammed 'Jihadi John' Emwazi in November.
