Michael Schumacher’s son in 100mph CRASH as 15-year-old begins motor-racing career
MICHAEL Schumacher's son has escaped unhurt after a 100mph crash at a racing track – just days after starting his motor-racing career.
Mick Schumacher, who switched from go-karting to Formula 4 at the beginning of the month, emerged unscathed after the high-speed incident in Germany this weekend.
The 15-year-old’s car skidded on the track and ended up in gravel at the side of the road, an incident report said.
The son of seven-time Formula 1 world champion Michael, has performed well in recent lower league races.

Mick’s Formula 4 career only began at the start of March, having finished second in the World, European and German kart championships last season.
The racing car hopeful was practising on a speedway in Brandenburg state, near the border with Poland and the Czech Republic, when the crash happened.
"The accident was mild and he ended up unhurt in the gravel," the report added.
The teenager, who has used the names Mick Junior and Mick Betsch to deflect media attention in the past, signed for Van Amersfoort Racing on March 2.
The Dutch team’s owner, Frits van Amersfoort, said: "We have watched his skills in test driving and are looking forward to a successful season.”
Mick's 46-year-old father was involved in a serious skiing accident in Meribel in the French Alps in December 2013, which left him in a coma.
The Formula 1 legend was transferred from a specialist Swiss hospital to his home on the shores of Lake Geneva to recover in September last year, after doctors judged his situation to have improved.
He has reportedly made progress at home but continues to suffer from “very limited” movement, although there are hopes he will one day be able to walk aided by crutches.
Schumacher sold his Norwegian holiday retreat for £1.8m in February, amid reports the family is now planning to build a £10m hospital room in the driver’s Swiss home.
