The 13-minute unverifed footage purports to show 19-year-old Muhammad Said Ismail Musallam in his final moments before he is killed in cold blood by a young boy – who looks no older than ten.

The video, published by the terror group's al-Furqan media outlet, seems to show Musallam sitting in a room talking about how he had been recruited and trained by Israeli intelligence service.

He says his father and elder brother had encouraged him to become a spy.

He adds: "I knew at that point they themselves were working as spies."

Musallam, who is from East Jerusalem, is then escorted to a field where the child, wearing military uniform and armed with a pistol, stands face-to-face with him and fires one bullet to his head.

Another IS fighter, a bearded male, is also present.

The boy, described by an older fighter as one of the "cubs of the caliphate", then shoots him three more times as he lies on the ground before chanting "Allahu Akbar" – which translates as God is greatest.

The terror group then sent a chilling message to Jewish people and references the deadly terror attacks which took place in Paris earlier this year.

"We are looking towards Jerusalem," the adult jihadist says.

"Allah granted us the grace to murder Jews on their lands in France."

"As to what happens here in the Islamic State, these are young boys. They will kill those sent by the stupid Mossad to spy on the secrets of the Mujahedeen and the Muslims."

Mussallam was captured in Syria in November last year.

Although his parents claim he left the country to join IS, the terror group believe he is an Israeli spy.

The militant group aim to establish an Islamic caliphate, and took control of large swaths of Syria and Iraq last year.
