THESE are the bizarre pictures that show a young couple kissing passionately - while in the middle of robbing an accessories store.
The pictures show the pair celebrate their successful heist by making out right in front of the shop's security camera.
The incident took place in the city of Zigong, Sichaun Province, China, on Tuesday, January 20.
The two thieves are believed to have been students at a nearby school.
According to local reports, the would-be Bonnie and Clyde were arrested soon after their raid, but the police let them go without charge after they both made a full confession.
They did not seem like professionals, as they did not target valuable stuff.
The shop's manager, Madam Gong, said the burglars took 2,100 yuan - about £220 - in cash, and also stole some perfume and jewellery which were on the shelves of the accessory shop.
She also said she believed the couple had a key to let them in, as the shop's lock had not been broken.
She added: "They did not seem like professionals, as they did not target valuable stuff."
A worker in the town, located in China's Southwest, said another shop which used the same sort of lock as Madam Gong's story was burgled with the lock in 'perfect condition'.
