MDC denies Mugabe party talks
Zimbabwe's opposition party denied state media reports that it will hold talks with Robert Mugabe's ruling party.
The Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) said Mugabe had failed to meet conditions including ending attacks on its supporters.
Justice Minister Patrick Chinamasa told the state-controlled Herald newspaper he had received confirmation that Morgan Tsvangirai's party and a splinter faction were ready to return to the negotiating table.
But opposition party spokesman Nqobizitha Mlilo said there is no movement because "the vampire nature of the regime has not changed, so how can you have dialogue?".
