Horrific living conditions in China revealed as police evict man from his sewer 'home'
A DESPERATE homeless man living in a Chinese sewer staged a two hour protest when police in tried to evict him from his 'home'.
Passers-by dialed 999 when they heard singing coming from a drain and spotted the pitiable man sitting underneath a sewer grill in Dalian, Liaoning province.
"He refused to budge. He kept saying it was his home. The smell is terrible but it's a lot warmer down there than it is on the surface," said one officer, speaking to the Austrian Times.
