Sarkozy discharged from hospital
French president Nicolas Sarkozy has been released from hospital after undergoing tests following his collapse while jogging.
A spokesman said the incident was due to heat and overwork and again denied that he lost consciousness.
Further tests on Mr Sarkozy's heart on Monday showed no signs of an irregular heartbeat and no long-term consequences for the president's heart.
No further medical treatment was prescribed, but the president has been told to rest for a few days.
All of Mr Sarkozy's official meetings for Monday have been cancelled. He is expected to chair the final Council of Ministers meeting on Wednesday before leaving for a holiday.
Mr Sarkozy, 54, was forced to interrupt his Sunday jog when he felt unwell and was rushed to hospital where he spent the night.
