'Drunk' man arrested after 'kicking' bison at Yellowstone National Park as warning issued
The man was taken to hospital with minor injuries after allegedly kicking a bison.
An man has been arrested on suspicion of booting a bison.
The incident happened at Yellowstone National Park, which is located mostly in Wyoming but also spreads into parts of Montana and Idaho.
Clarence Yoder, 40, from Idaho Falls, ended up injured after he "harassed a herd of bison" on April 21, after kicking one in the leg, park officials reported.
The incident took place on the West Entrance Road near the Seven Mile Bridgewhen rangers caught up with Yoder and his companion, McKenna Bass, 37, also from Idaho Falls, as they were leaving the park.
Yoder came off worse for wear in the bison bust-up, according to the park, and was carted off to hospital with minor injuries.

Yoder was arrested and taken away to the Gallatin County Detention Center.
Both men might be looking at a fine or half a year behind bars.
They both appeared in court on April 22 and entered a plea of not guilty.
Yellowstone has stated that each violation could lead to fines of up to £3,993 ($5,000) and six months behind bars.
Park officials warn to stay at least 25 yards away from large wild animals - and 100 yards from bears and wolves.
Last year, there were a number of incidents of bisons goring visitors.

The incident is still being investigated, according to Yellowstone.
This was the first report this year of a visitor being injured by a bison, as per Yellowstone's statement.
The last reported incident occurred on July 17, 2023, which was the only incident reported last year.
In 2022, three incidents resulting in injuries were reported.
