Stars get their skates on for Dancing On Ice
DANCING On Ice made a triumphant return to the small screen last night as 13 skating celebrities prepared to do battle to be named King or Queen of the rink.
While the stars dazzled in sequins and lycra, co-host Holly Willoughby opted for a demure black and white number, which showed off her pregnancy bump.
Last night the male celebrities took to the ice while the women have an extra week to practise finding their feet.
The show, which last year attracted 12.6million viewers for the final, got off to a spectacular start with the pros, Torvill and Dean.
This year’s male skaters are former EastEnders star Todd Carty, who had a wobbly start, singer Ray Quinn, actor Jeremy
Edwards, former England footballer Graeme Le Saux, former rugby player Ellery Hanley, TV journalist Donal MacIntyre and TV Presenter Michael Underwood.
Quinn, who topped the leader board with 23.5 points, is favourite to win at 11-4.
