THIS is the adorable moment a police dog was reunited with his owner after being apart for two weeks.
Dutch the police dog jumps in to the arms of his handler when they are reunited
The video, shot at the police kennelling facility in Northallerton, North Yorkshire, shows the police dog called Dutch bounding over to PC Marc Richardson after coming back to work from being on holiday.
The dog is hurling himself into the delighted officer's arms, barking with joy and wagging his tail furiously as the crime-fighting duo is finally reunited at work.
Mr Richardson, 38 was just as excited as his furry companion to be reunited. He said: "The anticipation I felt at coming back to work and seeing him again was huge - he's the best dog I've ever had."
When Dutch finally decides to get down he repeatedly jumps up at PC Richardson to lavish him with more fuss while police dog Bailey also gets in on the welcome wagon action.
Mr Richardson had been on a family holiday to Chicago with wife Maya and four-year-old twins Lucas and Isla to visit friends and was reunited with the delighted pooch yesterday morning.

The 38-year-old animal lover said: "Getting a response like that from him just makes your day."

The pair have chalked up five years together on hundreds of jobs and forged an incredibly strong bond since they were paired up when Dutch was just 18 months old, and have been inseparable ever since.
The father-of-two explained their friendship as an intense one after working for so long together.

He said: "Dutch is a general purpose dog, who searches for missing people and criminals, and we have a pretty intense working relationship."
"At seven Dutch is the oldest dog on the team and will retire when he's ready to.

"As long as he's fit, healthy and happy he'll keep going, but when the time comes for him to retire Dutch will stay with me as my pet dog.
"He's chilled out at home and switches off completely, but when he's at work he's completely focused."
He explained that Dutch is part of the family and has captured the heart of little Isla who has named her teddy Dutchy in his honour.
