UK 'TERROR' PROBE: Man from Luton, 21, held by police over 'plans to travel to Syria'
A 21-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested on suspicion of terrorism linked to Syria.
The 21-year-old was held at around 1pm yesterday, Scotland Yard said
He was held at around 1pm yesterday on suspicion of being involved in the commission, preparation and instigation of terrorism.
The suspect, who is from Luton but has not been named, was taken to a police station in south London for questioning.
Police are investigating alleged plans to travel to Syria to support a banned organisation, Scotland Yard said.
