A CITY boy who arranged to meet his blind internet date at a central London landmark allegedly raped her hours later as he told her "girls say no, but they don't mean it," a court heard today.

Adam Leheup has denied raping the woman

Architect Adam Leheup, 34, insisted on having sex with the 25-year-old despite her shouting: "No, no," the jury at Blackfriars Crown Court were told.

The technical co-ordinator on the £500 million Nine Elms Point Development denied raping the woman and sexually assaulting her at her flat in Camden, north London, in the early hours of July 10, 2013.

Mr Leheup, of Hersham, Surrey, said he enjoyed a night-long date with the woman which included wine and cocktails and the woman responded to his physical advances by allowing him to take off her bra in her bedroom so he could massage her back with oil.

The pair matched through online dating app Let's Date and first met under Waterloo Station's famous clock. They then headed to London's oldest wine bar, Gordon's Wine Bar across the river where they shared two bottles of wine.

Mr Leheup, a University of Greenwich graduate, missed the last train back to Surrey and his date agreed to put him up for the night so they went to Joe's bar in Camden for mojitos before going back to hers.

The woman claims she made it clear nothing would happen and when he started kissing her neck it made her a bit uncomfortable "but it wasn't vicious or nasty" and later she kissed him back as they were getting on well.

She said: "The kissing had got a bit more aggressive, stuff I did not like, his hand on my throat, which makes me vulnerable.

"I said 'nothing is going to happen'. I'm not that kind of girl."

She added that Mr Leheup had been a "bit funny" towards her when she was talking to other men at the bar.

In a police interview, talking about when they returned to her home, the woman said: "I told him nothing was going to happen, but he started to kiss me and I could tell he was naked.

"He took my clothes off and was on top of me and penetrated me and I was shouting 'No' a lot, but he was not listening.

"I was saying 'no' but he thought it was a joke or something. Then maybe he realised I was serious and he calmed down.

"He said: 'Girl's say no, but they don't mean it'. I just wanted him out."

The woman said her flatmate told him she was going to call the police but laughed at her and said it would just be a domestic.

He then clambered down scaffolding outside the balcony door and ran away but was arrested on the way to an underground station.

When questioned by police Mr Leheup said his date did not object to be touched intimately by him and he was fondling her breasts with "no talk of sex one way or the other".

He said she told him "Welcome to my crack den" as they arrived at her bedroom when they began kissing then she freaked out so he got off her straight away then climbed down the scaffolding "to avoid confrontation".

The young woman added: "I was probably more drunk than I should have been. I was feeling a bit giddy, a bit tipsy, but I was not falling over."

The trial continues...
