Teacher who wanted schoolgirl sex slave is banned from classroom
A TEACHER who wanted a schoolgirl to be his sex slave after encouraging her to send him explicit pictures has been banned from the classroom.
Kelvin Loraine, 31, struck up a relationship with the 15-year-old after meeting her in an online chatroom in 2013.
Maths teacher Loraine, who worked at Hetton School, in Hettonle-Hole, near Sunderland, encouraged her to send him 30 to 40 naked pictures of herself.
A National College for Teaching and Leadership panel heard that he had admitted inviting the teenager to sign a sex slave “contract” with him and instructed the girl to perform sex acts via video chat website Skype.
The hearing was told six weeks after the girl’s 16th birthday, Loraine met the girl at a Plymouth hotel and had consensual sex with her.
Loraine received a police caution last year for possessing an indecent photo of a child.
He said he was unaware that a person had to be aged 18 for explicit images to be lawful.
The panel said Loraine had a good record as a teacher but added: “The panel is satisfied it is necessary for a prohibition order to be imposed.”
