Woman, 23, raped on canal towpath after losing her friends on night out
A 23-YEAR-OLD woman who lost her friends after a night out was raped by a stranger on a canal towpath.
The rapist, in his 20s with a mohican hairstyle, struck near central Manchester's gay village at 3am on Saturday, March 7.
The canal is due to be gated off overnight after a number of crimes.
