Robbers hold up store armed with CROSSBOW
POLICE are hunting two robbers who held up a a shop armed with a CROSSBOW.
CCTV footage caught the two mean - one armed with a loaded crossbow - enter the store in Thornton Heath High Street in Croydon, south London.
They then place the crossbow on the counter, before leaning over the counter and making off with four mobile phones during the robbery on March 2.
Detective Constable Christine Moorhouse from Croydon's burglary team said: "I'd urge anyone who recognises either of these men to get in touch with police, or to contact Crimestoppers, which is completely anonymous.
"One of the suspects appears to have a loaded crossbow as they go into the shop, so it is concerning that somebody has this weapon and is carrying it around in public like this.
"We are keen to hear any information about who these people are, so please contact immediately if you know anything."
