The Argentinian's house is being sold after crooks attempted to burst in while he was having dinner with his wife Jorgelina and one-year-old daughter Mia.
The thieves tried to smash patio doors but fled empty handed after triggering an alarm system at the home of the Manchester United winger.
The 27-year-old and his family later moved to a luxury hotel with 24 hour security and since have been seen walking around Manchester with a bouncer.

And Express.co.uk exclusively revealed that Manchester United are willing to sell the Argentinian so they can fund a move for Real Madrid star Gareth Bale.
Mr Di Maria however has maintained he is happy at Old Trafford despite the uncertainty surrounding his future.
