Think you know bad parking? Round-up of Britain's most selfish motorists
IF there is one thing that grinds the gears of drivers up and down the country, it has to be selfish parking.
Express.co.uk has rounded up Britain's most selfish parkers
Yesterday, motorists across Britain sympathised with a young mother who had to wait HALF AN HOUR to get into her car after a blue Audi parked some millimetres from her door.
Stephanie Adams, of Bulwell, Nottingham, caught the atrocious parking on camera after she went to get her car from the Lace Market car park last Thursday, February 12.
The photography student explained there was a space next to her car when she left it, but when she came back a 2007 Audi A5 Sport TDI Quattro was parked almost touching her white Vauxhall Corsa.
Stephanie Adams returned to her car to find an Audi parked very close
However, Ms Adams is far from the only driver who has witnessed some truly terrible parking.
A Facebook page - titled 'Crap & Selfish Parking' - has been posting pictures shaming selfish motorists who have parked in some unbelievably bad ways.
From taking up FOUR parking spaces to leaving their car on the PAVEMENT - there appears to be no end to the appalling ways some people park.
Here, Express.co.uk has rounded up the 10 most unbelievable parking jobs -
Just a bit of a tight squeeze
ROOM FOR ONE MORE?
In a case very similar to Ms Adams', a lilac coloured Ford was spotted squeezed in between - and near enough touching - two other vehicles.
The car was seen parked directly in the middle of two parking bays, leaving no room for anyone involved in the tight squeeze to enter their car.
Perhaps the owner of the lilac vehicle exited her car from the boot?
This grey Audi had taken up two spaces
TAKE TWO
There is perhaps nothing more infuriating than entering a busy car park and seeing that one selfish motorist has taken more than one spot.
This grey Audi was seen taking up TWO parking spaces after its owner had positioned the car two thirds over one bay.
The owner of this car completely missing the bay lines
LITTLE BIT WONKY
In another case of bay hogging, this pale blue car was also snapped taking up two spaces.
However, the owner of this car did not just creep over into the next bay.
This incredible picture shows they COMPLETELY missed the bay lines - leaving their car parked diagonally across the two spots.
The owner of this car somehow managed to park over THREE bays
THREE IS A MAGIC NUMBER
Instead of going straight into one parking space, this motorist decided to park horizontally across THREE parking bays.
The shiny red vehicle is seen pointing directly at a black Audi, who is parked correctly in a nearby parking spot.
This car was spotted taking up FOUR bays
FULL HOUSE
But if taking two or even three bays was not bad enough, the owner of this purple Peugeot has taken the crown for space hogging by parking across FOUR bays.
This shocking picture shows the Peugeot parked mainly in the middle of two bays, but just poking far enough forward to obstruct two further spots.
This yellow vehicle made it very difficult for other motorists to access the ticket machine
TICKET MACHINE HOG
Parking far away from a ticket machine can be annoying - but this vehicle found a solution which probably proved even more aggravating.
The yellow car is seen parked not just near the ticket machine, but directly IN FRONT of it - stopping all other motorists from being able to easily access it.
Unfortunately, this probably was not a valid excuse for others not to buy a ticket.
The owner of this black Vectra found himself stuck
HANGING AROUND
The owner of this black Vectra found himself in a bit of an awkward situation after another motorist left their car parked IN FRONT of their vehicle.
The obstructing grey car car been seen parked directly in front of the bay containing the black Vectra, stopping the car from being moved until the grey vehicle is shifted.
Why park in a bay when there is a bush nearby?
IN THE WOODS
Sometimes, even the best of drivers find it hard to get into those tight parking spaces.
But this motorist thought they found a perfect solution to tough parking - by leaving his grey Peugeot parked half on a curb and into a BUSH.
On the bright side, at least the car was not obstruction anyone.
Talk about 'curbing it'
ON THE CURB
In another case of bizarre parking, this red Peugeot must have raised a few eyebrows after it was left parked on the CURB.
Instead of picking a suitable spot, the red vehicle is seen parked perfectly in the centre of a pavement - blocking anyone from walking down it.
The lack of spaces was no problem for this motorist
IS THIS SPACE TAKEN?
A busy car park is enough to irritate the most patient drivers.
But instead of getting aggravated by the lack of spaces, this motorist took the situation into their own hands by parking in the middle of the car park.
The white vehicle can be seen parked smack bang in the middle of the car park, while the other cars are left appropriately in their bays.
