Prospective employers sent a foul-mouthed rejection tirade when he asked for feedback

James Allen, 48, failed to impress his prospective employers at the interview but was shocked to receive the foul-mouthed email tirade when he asked for feedback.

Sarah Haseler, director of Devon conservatory firm Right Price PVCu, described James as “one of the most irritating, rude, obnoxious and arrogant people she had ever had the misfortune to meet”.

She added: “You are not only the most inappropriate person for this job but probably for any job.”

Ex-serviceman James, of Princetown, Devon, said: “I didn’t expect anything as nasty as that.”

Ms Haseler said she sent the email “in error”.
