A THUG was today jailed for punching the deaf sibling of Big Brother winner Josie Gibson, leaving him soaked in his own blood.

Innocent Harry Mook-Gibson was celebrating his celebrity sister's birthday in a nightclub when yob Charlie Radnedge launched his unprovoked attack.

CCTV footage shows the brute viciously punch deaf Harry in the face – splitting his lip.

Unprovoked Radnedge, 24, was jailed for a year after admitting assault occasioning actual bodily harm and breaching a suspended sentence order at Bristol Crown Court.

Investigating officer PC Brett Stinchcombe said: "Radnedge carried out an unprovoked and vicious assault on the victim in a city centre nightclub.

"In police interview, he tried to claim he was acting in self-defence but the CCTV footage showed a very different story.

"We identified Radnedge after releasing CCTV images as part of a public appeal for help and I'm grateful to everyone who responded to this appeal.

"The victim suffered some serious injuries to his face and the assault marred what should have been an enjoyable night celebrating his sister's birthday.

"We take all forms of violence seriously and will do everything we can to bring those who engage in violent acts to justice."

The senseless attack took place inside Dojo Lounge on Park Row at about 2am on January 26 2014.

Fitness star Josie Gibson, who shot to fame after be crowned the winner of the 11th series of Big Brother, tweeted a picture of her injured brother at the time.

In the photo, the man's shirt is soaked in his own blood.

The former sales rep claimed her deaf brother was attacked because he didn't give his attacker directions – because he couldn't hear him.

The Bristolian described her sibling as the "nicest guy ever" and said she could not understand why the incident had happened.

Radnedge, of Bradley Stoke, South Gloucestershire was jailed for three months for ABH and a further nine months for breaching a suspended sentence order.
