After weeks of speculation over Mr Young’s horrific 60ft fall onto spiked railings, detectives have ruled out foul play.

Assistant Coroner Angela Hodes opened an inquest into the businessman’s death today and told a packed court: “Police are treating it as non-suspicious.”

Mr Young, 52, died after he fell from a fourth storey window of his £3 million flat in central London on December 8.

It later emerged his ex-fiancee Noelle Reno made a dramatic call to police moments before he plunged to his death.

Reality TV star Ms Reno, 33, reportedly told officers: “There’s a crazy man here” as she hurried from the luxury block in Marylebone.

The couple had called off their engagement shortly before and Mr Young had reportedly made an appointment with a mental health clinic on the day he day.

Multi-millionaire Mr Young made a fortune acting as a fixer for Russian oligarchs sparking fears that his gruesome death was linked to the Russian underworld.

Days after he died, it was alleged he was once dangled from a window at the Dorchester Hotel in London’s Park Lane by Moscow-based gangsters as a warning to pay money he owed.

His fatal fall was linked to the suicides and mysterious deaths of five associates.

But London’s Westminster Coroners Court was told today detectives have ruled out a murder plot.

Dundee-born Mr Young’s body was identified by his brother-in-law Guy Van Ristell and his daughter Sasha Young provided background details.

Ms Hodes said the cause of death was “multiple injuries” and adjourned the inquest for a review hearing on January 12.

The businessman’s death has devastated Mr Young ex-wife Michelle and their two daughters.

The couple were involved in a bitter divorce battle during which Mrs Young claimed he was worth “billions.”

Mr Young claimed he had lost his fortune on a disastrous property venture in Moscow and was living off hand-outs from wealthy friends.

After a spell in jail for refusing to reveal how much he was worth, a judge made a £20million settlement in his ex-wife’s favour.
