Radio DJ Neil 'Dr' Fox has been arrested over three alleged sexual assaults

The 53-year-old Magic presenter was questioned by police in central London after he answered bail over four separate sexual assault allegations.

Two of the latest allegations relate to events that are said to have occurred in the 1990s, while the third is alleged to have happened in 2007.

Fox has been bailed to a date in March 2015.

While Scotland Yard have not named the presenter, they said officers from Westminster arrested a 53-year-old man for a further three alleged sexual assaults involving three different women.

It comes just two months after Fox was first arrested on September 30 following four allegations of sexual assault against two women.

Three of those allegations were "non-recent" while one was from earlier this year.

A Scotland Yard spokesman said: "The man was arrested at a business address in W1 and taken to a central London police station. Officers subsequently searched addresses in SW6 and the Littlehampton area of West Sussex.

"On Monday, 8 December, he returned on bail to a central London police station and was arrested for a further three sexual assaults involving different women. Two allegations are said have happened in the 1990s, the third is said to have happened in 2007.

"The man has now been bailed to return pending further enquiries to a date in March 2015."

The force also confirmed the arrest is not part of the multi-million pound Operation Yewtree, set up to probe the sex crimes of disgraced BBC presenter Jimmy Savile

A spokesman for Bauer Media, which owns Magic FM, said they "have no comment to make on what is a police matter".

Following Fox's arrest in September, the company said he would be off air "to enable him to devote his full attention to dealing with these matters".

A spokeswoman for Fox declined to comment.

Fox is a former Pop Idol judge who shot to fame as a DJ on Capital FM in the 90s.

He has presented the Magic FM breakfast show since 2005.
