MILLIONS of people with internet accounts are being urged to plan for a “virtual afterlife” so they don’t leave loved ones unable to close accounts after their deaths.
If next of kin are not aware of all the accounts and passwords used by the deceased then they may not be able to stop payments going out of bank accounts or close down social networking pages.
