Anger at Dewani appeal
THE family of murdered bride Anni Dewani have hit out at her husband after he launched a new bid to avoid extradition to stand trial for her killing.
Lawyers for Shrien Dewani, 33, have applied to the Supreme Court in an attempt to avoid him being sent to South Africa where he is wanted over Anni’s shooting.
A British court last month rejected the Bristol millionaire businessman’s fight to stay in Britain for treatment for mental health problems.
Anni’s family said their patience was running out.
Her uncle Ashok Hindocha said: “Since that day in 2010 when Anni was taken from us, we have watched Shrien try everything he could to stop himself from talking to the South African police.”
