Boris Johnson brands Nick Clegg a "wobbling jelly of indecision" in race for Eastleigh
BORIS Johnson has branded Nick Clegg a "wobbling jelly of indecision" in the run up to the Eastleigh by-election.
The Mayor of London made the comments as he arrived in the Hampshire constituency to voice his support for candidate Maria Hutchings.
Mr Johnson said: "The line on Clegg is that he's the great quivering jelly of indecision, whereas Cameron has a clear plan."
"His single-most contribution to British politics has been to make a u-turn on tuition fees then to make a song about it," he added.
The Mayor of London turned a few heads as he negotiated his way around a supermarket in the town canvassing for by-election votes.
Shoppers at Asda appeared to give a warm welcome to one of the Tory parties most recognisable faces - and hair styles.

Mr Johnson's denouncement of Clegg's party continued in an interview with the Evening Standard today.
He said: "There are lots of areas where the Lib Dems are pitifully weak. It’s our constitutional duty to kick the Lib-Dems in the... Do they have any?"
The Eastleigh by-election will take place on February 28th.
