Andy Murray proves a smash hit with cousin Cora, aged 9
BRITAIN’S last remaining Wimbledon hope, Andy Murray, gets some welcome support...from his cousin Cora Erskine.
Cora, nine, and her twin sister Ailsa paid a surprise visit yesterday as the Scot practised on the All England Club training courts.
Relaxed Murray, 25, immediately stopped his workout, picked Cora up and gave her a huge hug.
I can’t wait until next year
Andy heads into his third round match against Cypriot Marcos Baghdatis today as the only remaining Briton after Guernsey-born Heather Watson, 20, crashed out to number three seed Agnieszka Radwanska.
Heather’s third round appearance was nevertheless the best showing by a British female player for a decade.
“I can’t wait until next year,” she said later.
