Pippa Middleton plays it down for the Queen's big day
PIPPA Middleton played it down today as the Queen celebrated her Diamond Jubilee.
The sister of the Duchess of Cambridge, who stole the show at the royal wedding, decided to stay in the shadows as the nation celebrated the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
Pippa, who stole many of the headlines from her sister on her big day wore a rather low key navy skirt and matching jacket with cream detailing.

She joined her mother Carole, father Michael and brother James on the Elizabethan which followed the royal barge.

Pippa and her family were joined by Lord Sebastian Coe and his wife, as well as Michael Fawcett, Prince Charles' one-time servant who went on to become his party organiser.
The Elizabethan has been described as having "the unique exterior of a 19th century Paddle Steamer coupled with the interior of a top London restaurant and night club".
