Good walk can fight depression
A BRACING walk could be the key to fighting off mild depression, research at two universities has found.
Physical exercise should be a treatment option for people with mild depression, according to the study at Stirling and Edinburgh universities.
PhD student Roma Robertson, of Stirling, said: “There has been a big movement towards encouraging people to walk for physical health reasons, but this study recognises its role in mental health.”
