During Monday's episode of Loose Women, an uncomfortable spat broke out on air over Meghan Markle, leaving the audience taken aback.

Denise Welch lashed out at fellow presenter Coleen Nolan for defending Meghan Markle, expressing her frustration over the constant criticism aimed at the Duchess of Sussex.

The panel was joined by Royal expert Dickie Arbiter who suggested that the Sussexes should not have left the Royal Family, leading to a tense exchange between the two co-hosts.

Denise criticised the lack of media attention on Prince Andrew compared to other royals, prompting Coleen to step in.

As the disagreement escalated, host Coleen intervened, stating: "Listen... we don't want [Dickie] on here to have a debate really. We want to know how Charles is doing now and, the future for Charles. It's not a debate."

Prince Archie is marking his fifth birthday today, and it's expected that his parents Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have planned a low-key, intimate celebration complete with traditional party games, a delicious cake, and ice cream, according to an expert.

The young royal has been characterised by author Tom Quinn as "a real livewire who loves rushing around at top speed".

The Mail on Sunday poll, which was conducted by Ipsos and quizzed 2,166 British adults, found only 25 percent were fans of the Duchess of Sussex.

Prince Harry is also trailing at the bottom of the table amongst those who were surveyed.

The poll marks the first anniversary of King Charles's Coronation and although some members of the Royal Family have seen their popularity rise, Meghan's approval ratings are still dragging along the bottom.

An insider shared with The Mirror: "Harry has kept in regular contact with his father on several occasions and made no secret of his desire to see him when he can. He has been especially concerned about him and hopes the King will be well and able to see him as planned."

Although the service coincides with the season's inaugural Buckingham Palace garden party, there's a chance for a catch-up between Charles and Harry later in the day.
