A brave cam model has praised the kink community for the overwhelming support they have shown her and her son after she was diagnosed with cancer.

Kayley Clark, 42, was told she had developed Stage 1 uterine cancer in June and pushed into early menopause after undergoing a full hysterectomy a little over two weeks after first being told about her diagnosis.

The single mum-of-one told the Daily Express her life was turned completely upside down but said the support she has been shown by members of the fetish community has been vital in spurring her on.

Kayley said the subscription-based fetish content platform MyFet had provided her with a "rich support system" while she fights cancer and is unable to work.

She said the support she has received has been incredible and that she is "immensely grateful" not only for the financial aid they offered and her 10-year-old son but also for the psychological help colleagues have given her.

Kayley said: "I know I’m not the first person to be struggling with cancer, nor will I be the last, but I really feel as though people don’t talk about it enough, especially in the adult industry.

"Cancer affects an overwhelming amount of people, but I feel like you hardly ever hear about how it affects cam models, or how they’ve been able to get through it.

"Society constantly judges cam girls, forgetting that we’re real people with real lives and real struggles."

Kayley, who provided this publication with pictures but said she preferred to have her and her son's faces blurred, said the cam community is "like a family" and has been very supportive as she fights to beat cancer.

Kayley added: "One thing people often don’t realise about the cam community is that we’re more like a family. We work together to support one another, grow our businesses, and that’s largely why we all love what we do.

"MyFet has provided me with a rich support system which has been invaluable amidst my diagnosis; when I’m not working, I'm not earning, but having these people behind me has been incredible."

The cam model said the first few weeks since her diagnosis left her in a state of "shock" and she took to donning sunglasses at home to keep her son from seeing her crying.

But MyFet founder Arabella Jade praised Kayley for the strength she has shown since she was first diagnosed and said the community is "determined" to help her.

She told the Daily Express: "Kayley is an incredible person; she’s a joy to know, is entirely dedicated to her son, and is a popular model on MyFet who’s loved by her viewers.

She’s open and embraces all of her customers with open arms, making anyone feel comfortable in her presence.

"This diagnosis is a huge shock to us all and we are determined to help Kayley in any way we can.

"We encourage anyone able to please donate to her GoFundMe page; this money will be used to support Kayley and her son during this extremely difficult time."
