What is the Lotto?
The National Lottery describes itself as “the nation's favourite game - played by millions in towns and cities across the country”.
Originally introduced in 1994 the Lotto has crowned thousands of winners in its nearly three decades of existence.
Draws for the game take place every Wednesday and Saturday evening.

How can you play?
Anyone who wants to play can pick up a ticket for £2 through the National Lottery website or their official app.
Tickets can also be purchased at a number of other venues including post offices and supermarkets.
Between 6am and 11pm on non-draw days players can buy tickets for the Lotto.
However, if you want to secure your place in tonight's draw you will need to buy a ticket before 7.30pm on Saturday.
When playing you will need to select six numbers from one to 59 or you can leave it to chance and opt for a Lucky Dip, which will draw your numbers randomly.
Individuals can buy a maximum of seven lines of numbers per ticket.
In addition, Lotto players can buy up to 10 slips at any time, with a limit of seven lines of numbers each entry.

Players should note that the most they can spend on tickets for one draw is £140.
You must also be aged at least 18 or over to play the lottery in the UK.

1, 20, 25, 35, 46, 59 and the bonus ball is 28.
